SOLD OUT! Awakening to the Rebirth of Spring

  • Sunflower Farm Creamery 12 Harmon Way Cumberland, ME, 04021 (map)

We’re collaborating with Sunflower Farm Creamery to offer a very special meditation in celebration of the return of spring with their baby goats!

$35

Celebrate the beginning signs of life re-emerging during a mindful walk through the farm and surrounding forest. After some guided breathing and gentle movement, we'll discover new ways to experience the natural world by following the lead of the herd. Here you'll meditate among the blooming trees, awaken your senses to the natural world, and snuggle with baby goats during our community sharing circle.

Venmo Davinica at @kaneel or Hope @sunflowerfarmcreamery to reserve your spot or email Davinica at davinica@kaneel.me to arrange another way to pay.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

  • This event will be held rain or shine. If the event needs to be canceled due to dangerous weather or temperature, you will be fully refunded.

  • You will need layers; appropriate shoes for uneven terrain and mud; and a blanket, towel, or trail seat for sitting on the ground.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTE

Parking: When you arrive please pull all the way into the farm to park. If you need space for accessible parking, please let us know ahead of time so we can reserve space for you!

Trail: We’ll be traversing across uneven terrain through grassy farm pasture, between forested trees, and on rocky ground by a stream. There may be snow on the ground. This is a slow amble with periods of rest, not a hike.

Sensory Activities: Throughout the meditation, participants will be invited to explore the space using their senses of touch, sight, smell, and sound. Participation in any of these activities is not required and can be adapted for those with sensory impairments.

Restrooms: There are no restrooms for this 1.5-hour event.
