Welcome the new year with ease and and resilience
You are invited to join us beneath the first full moon of the new year to practice the basics of mindfulness meditation in community. January is a time of reflection, new beginnings, crisp air, and hibernation. Together, we’ll cultivate stillness of mind and strength of heart during this unique season.
By being outside under the moon, we’ll have the chance to explore the balance between winter weather and warmth and coziness. The gazebo will protect us from the elements and you are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag, layers, a mug, or whatever else will help you be comfortable. Hot tea and blankets will be provided!
This offering is geared toward those newer to mindfulness meditation, who may yearn for more time outside in nature, or feel drawn to connect with community. If you have a more seasoned meditation practice, we offer this class as an opportunity to reconnect with your beginner’s mind.
The hour will include an introduction to the practice of mindfulness, a 15-20 minute guided meditation, and time for questions and answers. All are welcome!
